bKash training at Bogra and Gaibandha
On September Dnet organised training on bKash at KMUS, Sariakandi, Bogra and USS, Saghata, Gaibandha as part of a partnership between the social enterprise and the mobile banking service provider. In those two sessions 14 Infoladies were trained about the potential of mobile banking, bKash customer registration, bKash Yard Meeting and some money laundering issues.
bKash’s Alternative Channel Senior Manager Tariqul Islam Khan and Learning and Development Manager Tanvir Hossain acting as facilitators. Among others Dnet’s Assistant Director, Saiduzzaman Pulak was present during the training session.
The Infoladies will get engaged in popularising bKash among their clients explaining the benefits of mobile banking in Dnet’s bid to provide service through technology and rid Bangladesh of the digital divide.
All Infoladies are expected to conduct approximate 2700 yard meetings across their region on bKash services in next six months in their bid to spread the word. During this period 21000 customers are expected to be reached with majority of being women. The Infoladies will strive to register as many bKash customers as possible.
