ICT State Minister Palak visits Dnet’s Kulaura Infolady Programme
ICT State Minister Zunaid Ahmed Palak visited Dnet’s Infolady Social Entrepreneurship Programme at Kulaura on Sunday, 29 November, 2015 and spent the day inquiring about their work.
The Dnet programme was initiated by We Are Friends for Human (WAFFH) with 10 Infoladies.
The State minister started off the day with a yard meeting in a village where women are generally given awareness messages through video presentation.
He spoke to the meeting moderator, Infolady Kohinoor Akhter Panna, and other meeting participants there. Palak also observed how Meena Begum, an Infolady from the other end of the village, provided her services.
Head of the NGO We Are Friends for Human (WAFFH), Abdul Malik, briefed The State Minister about the activities of Infoladies and also introduced them to him individually.
The MP of Moulvibazar-2 Abdul Matin and Sylhet BCB Shofiul Alam Chowdhury Nadel, among others, were present during the minister’s visit. Dnet COO Mizanur Rahman, Head of Infolady Social Entrepreneurship Programme SK. Masudur Rahman and Dnet Assistant Director Saiduzzaman Pulak, Swapan Debnath, Tanvir Rahman and Hasib Rashid were present on behalf of Dnet.
