Infolady Selection Workshop at Natore
Dnet’s Infolady Social Entrepreneurship Programme has begun expanding the Infolady model with the assistance of the Information and Communication Technology Department. The selection of Infoladies at Singra under Natore was organised as part of that expansion. The first round workshop was held at the Singra Agricultural Extension Office auditorium with 30 women on Saturday. State minister for Posts, Telecommunications and ICT, Zunaid Ahmed Palak was present at the workshop and spoke to the applicants individually. Commending the Infolady programme, the ICT State Minister said, the Infolady model would especially help women play a significant role in building a digital Bangladesh. The ICT State Minister Palak also urged the people of Singra to come forward and make the Infolady programme a success.
